Qigong Classes
QIGONG is a traditional Chinese health practice that dates to 2700 BCE. Pronounced chee-gong, it is the gathering and circulating of Qi, internal and external energy, through slow, graceful movements.
Qigong builds strength in all body systems by purposefully moving blood and breath to release blockages in the body. Blockages are areas of tension and tightness where blood flow is restricted. Through the slow and deliberate movement of Qigong these areas open up. During practice you may experience a pulsing feeling, as blood flow improves. This movement linked to breath is thought to improve lung and cardiovascular systems.

Yoga Classes
VINYASA YOGA links breath to movement. The intensity of practice is determined by the number of breaths and the tempo of the class. Classes can be slow, with each pose paired with breath and the flow of movement is fluid and graceful.
POWER YOGA also links breath and movement, using more intense poses, and longer holds, to build heat.
Leslie carefully explains each pose and presents real-time cues to help you get the most from each asana practice.
As with all yoga classes, students are encouraged to go at their own pace.
